Our Plex app for Windows and Mac PCs is a standalone application with the same design as our normal web app, but with considerably more robust playing features and the option to download content for offline usage. Premium membership is $5 per month, $40 per year, or $120 for lifetime access. While the free tier does not charge you on a monthly basis, there is a $5 platform activation cost if you wish to use the Plex Android and iOS applications.
